A printed Christmas wish

Oh My Gosh! December has hit me with a bang in terms of being busy. It’s inevitable, I know that this is my busiest month, yet I still commit to 3 Christmas parties which I am planning, organizing and hosting, most probably tons of last minute Christmas shopping to do and of course, the dinner dates and visits from friends and family. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining; as this is my favourite time of the year, I just wish I could pause some of these moments as they just seem to fly past me. December is always such a whirlwind of events.

Christmas is by far my favourite holiday to celebrate. I am such a freak when it comes to decorating our tree, helping my friends put up their trees, wrapping gifts for loved ones, singing annoying Boney M classics, insisting everyone should own an advent calendar, doing daily Christmas countdowns….I’m pretty much Buddy the Elf. Literally no one can dampen my mood this time of the year. I wanted to do a post about reflecting on this year, however, I felt that was a bit too heavy for a Christmas post. Let’s rather recap in the New Year 🙂

I have been working on a Christmas gift guide, so for all you last minute shoppers stayed tuned! I fall into that trap every year! I make a promise to myself on the 24th December while standing in a long queue cursing the slow cashier that I won’t do this to myself again and that next year I will buy gifts throughout the year, and every year on the 24th I’m standing in a long queue making that same promise.

None the less through all the crazy busy times December holds, I truly do find joy and happiness when I know I can make others happy. I’ve also been given the best gift this Christmas, which I can’t wait to share with you all.

From me at Raw Explosions, I’d like to wish all my readers a very Blessed Christmas and Prosperous new Year.  I am hopeful that 2016 will hold in many wonderful surprises and good fortune for us all. Be safe, be merry and be bright.

About this look:

Simplicity is my key element to creating a look. I wanted something that represented my own personality yet in the simplest way possible. I mixed two monochrome prints together and added a red lip.
