Day Two – #MBFWCT

Day two started off with loads of excitement as we were joined by PTY Designer Nick – Read up on this talented cat here and check out his featured street style look on Cosmopolitan Magz Online gallery from Fashion Week.

Knowing what to expect after day one, we were ready for all the “fashion” that awaited us.

Lalesso – Oliva & Alice

Lalesso opened up day two of Fashion Week, and these ladies never seem to disappoint! Beautiful soft coloured prints emerged down the runway. Kenyan prints created the ultimate bohemian fantasy. We saw playful playsuits, easy flowing dresses and my favourite black and white printed chiffon cover-ups. Soft pastel colours were the focus point, laid on soft flowing chiffon’s and crisp summer linens. I loved the subtle hints of neon detail seen on a few pieces and accessories. Summer is starting to look a whole lot better with Lalesso. Boho Chic is back.

These ladies are true to their beliefs and it shows in their work each time.

Dax Martin

What a show put on by Dax Martin and his team. Retro swimwear and a performance by local artists Shekhinah and Kyle Deutsch.

Let’s take it back to the beach is our theme catch phrase when thinking of Dax Martins SS16 collection. Bright neon prints slayed the runway with fierceness. Each look polished off with crisp white fedora hats and big shades. Pure entertainment and a very refreshing approach to swimwear and what to expect this summer.

Ruald Rheeder

Staying true to fashion and couture we saw extravagant pieces of bright leather, neutral fur, soft chiffon pleats, subtle masculine stripes and checkered-block pants. It was Ruald Rheeder’s show stopper dress that was talk of the night, as he ended of day two of fashion week. Building up to the finale dress where gorgeous men draped in soft chiffon black shirts.
